Tom Dixon — “Eclectic” Hand-Beaten Brass Bowls (Set of Five)
A sculptural stack of golden forms with a beautifully lived patina
These five brass bowls come from Tom Dixon’s celebrated “Eclectic” series, a collection that honours honest materials, hand-formed surfaces, and sculptural everyday objects. Each bowl is individually hand-beaten in solid brass, giving them their softly irregular rims and organic, pebble-like shapes. No two are identical — together they form a shimmering, tactile constellation.
Over time they have developed a deep, warm patina: speckles, tonal shifts, and marks that tell their own quiet story. This ageing of the brass is intentional and beloved among collectors; it gives the set its atmospheric depth and sense of soul.
Use them as centrepieces, for fruit, candles, or simply as sculptural objects placed on a console or dining table. Displayed together as a nested stack, they become a golden landscape of curves and shadows — a small moment of everyday poetry.
