Beautiful vintage Danish table lamp by +LYS , Denmark, dating approximately to the 1970s.
The lamp has a wonderfully sculptural, rounded ceramic base finished in a rich raspberry/cherry-red high-gloss glaze. Depending on the light, the colour shifts from vibrant raspberry red to a deeper cherry/burgundy tone.
The original lamp holder retains the “+LYS – Made Denmark” maker’s label. Brass-toned fittings, a twisted textile-covered cord and cream inline switch complete the period appearance.
A particularly decorative piece of 1970s Danish lighting, equally suited to a side table, console, bedside table or living-room interior.
