Large Sculptural Vase – Vidrios San Miguel, Spain, c. 1980s–1990s
A heavy, architectural vase in hand-blown recycled green glass, made by Vidrios San Miguel in Spain.
The square form rises with softly drawn-in sides, shaped while the glass was still molten. Light moves slowly through the thick walls, revealing subtle waves, air bubbles, and gentle asymmetry — quiet traces of the hand at work.
Designed to stand on its own as a sculptural object, yet equally striking with a single tall branch. A piece that holds both weight and transparency, strength and softness.
Handmade from recycled glass, each example is unique.
Details
– Spain, late 20th century
– Hand-blown recycled glass
– Height: 28 cm
– Top: 17 × 17 cm
– Very good vintage condition with minor signs of age
– Original maker’s label present
A timeless statement piece — calm, grounded, and quietly expressive.
